Lee Olsen – CEO – Mr. Olsen is a former IBM executive with more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry and is credited with coining the phrase Multimedia Computing. He is the founder of Insomnia Partners, a strategic management consulting firm focused on building and growing companies who are on the leading edge of innovation, and the international high-end technology think tank, TrendSphere. Mr. Olsen also co-founded EOCnet in Bermuda which was responsible for successfully implementing the first eCommerce law for online businesses. Mr. Olsen received a B.A. from Ryerson University and his M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management of Devry University.

Scott Emrich – President – Mr. Emrich has experience across a broad spectrum of industries, with deep experience in operations, business development, social media management, mortgage banking, financial derivatives and sports marketing. At the age of 19, during a semester off from college, he founded a sports marketing firm Drive Promotions that provided marketing, product licensing, and public relations services to a diverse base of professional racing drivers in several racing series in the U.S. and Europe. Mr. Emrich is an alumnus of The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, and is a third generation entrepreneur.

Richard Kane – Chief Technical Officer – Mr. Kane is a Telecom entrepreneur who founded the Inc. 500 company Coastal Technologies Group (CTGi) in 1996. As chairman and CEO of the company, Kane sets the corporate direction in research, design, development and optimization. His success began at age 17 when Richard was profiled by the New York Times for innovative development of security and copy protection. Now, with over 20 years of proven experience in high–performance computing, Kane holds multiple patents and copyrights and continues to lead R&D in high-performance computing as well as artificial intelligence.

Daniel Huber – Chief Financial Officer – Mr. Huber has 15+ years of operational and corporate finance experience across multiple industries. Most recently, he was a Vice President at RBC Capital Markets in the Global Investment Banking Group. Prior to his investment banking career, he provided consulting services to the Department of State including working a various embassies around the world.  In addition, Mr. Huber served in the U.S. Navy was a Surface Warfare (Nuclear) Officer.  Mr. Huber received a B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and his M.B.A. from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Larry Perlstein – EVP of Corporate Development – Mr. Perlstein is a senior executive with more than 30 years of diverse, poignant, and pioneering experience in technology industry research, product / service marketing and sales, and project and personnel management working at respected companies such as Gartner, Inc., IBM, GE and PepsiCo. Since 2011, Mr. Perlstein has been an advisor and strategist to a wide range of technology startups and small businesses. Mr. Perlstein earned a master of business administration in information systems and bachelor of business administration in marketing from Pace University, New York.

Daniel Sheehan – EVP of Business Development – Mr. Sheehan is a senior management executive with more 20 years of experience with proven success in SaaS-based marketplaces. Mr. Sheehan was the Director of Sales for Perceptive Software, a division of Lexmark, where he was responsible for all aspects of sales and market development. Mr. Sheehan has experience building and training a comprehensive sales organization with a variety companies across the technology and software industry.

Michael Dubno, Former Chief Information Officer of Global Markets at Bank of America Corporation – Mr. Dubno served as the Head of Global Markets & Research Technology of Bank of America Corporation since 2010. He served as the Chief Technology Officer of Goldman Sachs from 1985 to 2005. During his tenure with Goldman Sachs he was the Architect and Chief developer for key systems including their first program trading system, the primary and derivative system, time series analysis systems, and investment research systems. In 2001, he founded Gadgetoff, an annual invitation only event that takes place in New York City. Mr. Dubno serves as Chairman of NYC NJ First.

David Steinberg, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Caivis Acquisition Corp. – Prior to founding CAIVIS and XL Marketing, Mr. Steinberg founded InPhonic, the largest seller of wireless phones and communications products and services on the Internet, with annual revenue in excess of $400 million. InPhonic was #1 on Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in 2004, the year it went public on the NASDAQ. Mr. Steinberg also served as chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Cellular, a B2B and retail wireless communications provider, and Sterling Communications, a communications telemarketing company. Mr. Steinberg was named the Greater Washington Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for communications in 2002. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Faster Cures of the Milken Institute, the Greater Washington Sports Alliance, and the Board of Trustees of Washington & Jefferson College and previously served on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Steinberg holds a B.S. from Washington & Jefferson College.

 

Craig Stout, Experienced Chief Financial Officer – Mr. Stout has 20+ years of operational and corporate finance experience across multiple industries. Mr. Stout has run several successful businesses in the finance, ecommerce and technology industries; consulted to companies wishing to accelerate and/or manage their growth through strategic acquisitions, restructuring and refinancing.  Most recently Mr. Stout spent 5 years with iMedicor, Inc., a cutting edge healthcare communications platform, as CFO and COO. 

Cliff Gilbert-Lurie, Senior Partner at Ziffren Brittenham LLP – Mr. Gilbert-Lurie is a senior partner at Ziffren Brittenham LLP, a leading entertainment law firm, covering a wide-breadth of clients in the entertainment, media, digital, technologies businesses, software businesses, investment funds and senior executives in the entertainment and media businesses. Mr. Gilbert-Lurie has more than 30 years of sophisticated experience in evaluating business issues, negotiating contracts and advising clients. Mr. Gilbert-Lurie received a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Hugo Liu, Principal Scientist at eBay, Inc. – Dr. Liu is principal research scientist at eBay Research Labs focusing on brand econometrics and prediction science. Dr. Liu is an advisory to the Xfund and has more than 10 years of experience in technology and artificial intelligence covering the areas of food, fashion, lifestyles and consumer culture. Dr. Liu received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a M.E. in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Media Arts & Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Deb Roy, Associate Professor at MIT Media Lab and Chief Media Scientist of Twitter – Dr. Roy is Director of the Laboratory for Social Machines, Associate Professor at MIT, and Chief Media Scientist of Twitter. He leads research at MIT at the intersection of human and machine communication, advises technology start-up companies, and serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Social Media. He was co-founder and CEO of Bluefin Labs, a social TV analytics company, which MIT Technology Review named as one of the 50 most innovative companies of 2012. Bluefin had over 100 of the world’s largest advertisers and TV networks as clients including P&G, Nike, CBS, and Fox. Bluefin was acquired by Twitter in 2013, Twitter’s largest acquisition at the time. An author of over 100 academic papers in machine learning, cognitive modeling, and human-machine interaction, his widely viewed TED talk Birth of a Word used data visualizations to intuitively explain his research. A native of Canada, Roy received a Bachelor of Applied Science (computer engineering) from the University of Waterloo and a PhD in Media Arts and Sciences from MIT. He is @dkroy on Twitter.

Megan Tierney, Founder of Louise & Eleanor – Ms. Tierney is an entrepreneur and real estate investor with experience in operations, advertising, marketing strategy and corporate identity. Ms. Tierney is the founder of Louise and Eleanor, a women’s luxury fashion company, and co-founder of bizcasts.com, an employment matching agency. Ms. Tierney received a B.A. in Political Science from the University Oregon.

Dan Hecht, Experienced Marketing and Healthcare Executive – Mr. Hecht has more than 20 years of consumer and healthcare experience as a senior executive at Procter & Gamble leading billion dollar businesses throughout North America and globally. Mr. Hecht also served as CEO of the innovative MDVIP model in healthcare which he built to national scale building advocacy and demonstrating impactful results. Mr. Hecht currently serves as a strategic advisor to several companies bringing his personal consumer, healthcare, and growth expertise to their benefit. Mr. Hecht received his M.B.A. in marketing and finance from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
